Biography:
TAF is a french Metal band from Lure, a small town in the department of Franche-Compté.
Formed in 1997 by the three first founder members: Christof (Vocal) from Belgium,
Steflan (Drum) from France, and Cerveza (Guitar) from Spain. They starts to do their first
concerts in 1998. The band evolves with the coming of Fabio (Bass) from Italy in 1999, and
records their first studio album 9 tracks* "Busca" a few time later.
In 2000, in research of a more agressive sound, they recruit Tom from Belgium as second
guitarist. Year 2002: TAF released their second album titled "Break Man"
more under the kind of a demo, with 5 tracks, mixing lyrics in french/backslang, spanish,
italian and english. But it's in 2004 that the band will be more known, especially
nationally in the french metal scene with the release of their EP "Give & Take",
which will be re-issued in 2005 with an new cover art, 2 bonustracks and the clip video
of the song "Give and Take". In the same year, Fabio leaves the band and will be replaced by Souris (Yugoslav origin) who becomes their official bassist. After many concerts, festivals, springboards and more than 50 dates with notorious bands like Eths, Gojira, The Arrs, Black Bomb A or Tagada Jones, with meantime, the release of a acoustic album "Past, Présent, Futuro", TAF begins to work on their real first album "Polluted", during the year of 2006. This one will be recorded in 2007 and will released the first April 2008 with 14 new tracks more devastating than ever, and where we can feel a unique personal musical genre that the band have acquired during his 11 years of experience.
